Lake Zapotlan CEQUAL-W2 water quality model
WMS was used to generate the bathymetry of the lake as well as the storage capacity curves for each segment of the lake. CEQUAL-W2 was then used to model the water quality of the lake. CEQUAL-W2 can be used to model many different types of water quality including nitrogen and phosphorus levels, types of algae, water temperature, nutrient levels etc.
